167 TENNESSEE AVENUE
ACP completed work on this ~4,000 sf building in early 2024, converting the 19-room rooming house into 3 new 2bdrm/2bath apartments and 1 commercial unit.
CARDINAL
Cardinal is Atlantic City's upscale casual restaurant where Contemporary American cuisine meets a warm, welcoming environment. Chef Michael Brennan's menu celebrates seasonal, sustainable, and responsibly sourced ingredients from New Jersey and beyond. Experience Cardinal's elevated hospitality in our industrial-chic dining room, cozy lounge, al fresco patio, or, seasonally, in The Garden. Led by Chef Michael and Thomas Brennan; located in Atlantic City's Orange Loop District.
THE LEADERSHIP BUILDING
ACP completed work on The Leadership Building in November 2021. It includes 10 new apartments above the Leadership Studio. The building features a shared community room and outdoor deck—making it perfect for teachers, freelancers, and entrepreneurs.
HAYDAY COFFEE
ACP (with co-founder Loryn L. Simonsen) opened the city’s only independent coffee shop, Hayday Coffee, in the summer of 2018. Hayday quickly became a go-to community spot—a space for all to gather, share stories, and be inspired to realize change of their own.
Hayday reopened in ACP’s Bywater building in December 2020.
BYWATER
Bywater is a gut renovation of a century-old 12-unit mixed-use building on New York Avenue completed in the summer of 2020. Bywater includes 8 new residential units and is home to MPXNJ Medical & Recreational Cannabis Dispensary, Hayday Coffee, and Side Pony Print Shop.
THE
ORANGE LOOP
The call for “a better block for a better city” in 2017 rapidly became “a better district for a better city”, as one block expanded into The Orange Loop in 2018, encompassing the three beach blocks of New York Ave, St. James Pl, and Tennessee Ave.
The Orange Loop serves as a model for the future of Atlantic City by creating a concentration of amenity-based service, retail, restaurants, and bars that residents and tourists of all ages, from families to millennials to seniors, seek when looking for a place to live, work and play.
TENNESSEE AVE RENAISSANCE
Authentic City Partner’s vision for a better Atlantic City has always been about building community and thinking big while starting small.
ACP’s first tenant, The Leadership Studio, an Atlantic City-based nonprofit committed to cultivating leaders and wellness through yoga opened its doors in October of 2017 on the beach block of Tennessee Avenue. Hayday Coffee’s original store was also part of the initial renaissance.
